LOOK | Ruby Red Lips

The "I don't know a photo is being taken even though it's a selfie" pose.

I haven't done a LOOK post in so long, purely because my skin has been misbehaving for no apparent reason. I assume stress, but who knows? Anyway, when I was done with my make up for Saturday's night on the tiles I loved how it came out and fancied sharing it.

It's nothing extraordinary, I just wanted to show off this gorgeous lip combination. That is: MAC Redd lipliner topped with Rimmel London In Love With Ginger. It's a little glossier than I would ideally like but the formula of the new Moisture Renew line is amazing, so moisturising, which is good for me because my lips are always parched!

I also went back to using an old favourite, L'Oreal True Match foundation, and I have fallen back in love. It covers well and has a gorgeous finish...barely requires powdering though I did because of the copious amounts of concealer I needed to use.

As for the eyes, I don't think you can go far wrong with a defined crease and statement winged liner. It's the perfect partner to any bold lip colour. You can't see all that well from the picture but I'm also wearing Eyelure Naturalites Lengthening lashes, they went on with no fuss for once. I'm definitely having a good make up day!
