Make Up I've Become Bored With.

I'll explain the reasoning behind this in the following post, but for now I just want to write about a few products I own, products I've loved, and unfortunately, I'm getting bored of and am throwing to the back of my collection.

Pahah.

NARS Laguna Bronzer.

I don't know why but lately my face has been looking so flat and anti-dimensional (Is that even a phrase?) and I've been looking to warm it up, contour and create some sort of impression that I'm not made of wax. Strange way to put it I know, but my colouring is so light that I can look a bit glazed and false if I'm not careful. In the past i've loved that Laguna's pigmentation was light but lately, I've been seeing no benefit from it at all. Wah!

MAC MSF Natural in Light.

Anyone for CAKE? Don't know how I never noticed how powdery this made me look before. LAME.

Liquid/ Gel Eyeliner.

Can't seem to do it evenly anymore, or maybe I never could. To YouTube to restore my faith in winged liner!

And the one that will probably come as the biggest shock. Not because I rave about them, but just because of how much others do.

Urban Decay Palette's.

I'm like a walking hypocrisy. Not even a month has gone by since I wrote a post about how I wasn't all that bothered with MAC Cosmetics, and in general, my mindset hasn't changed all that much, however, I am seeing more of why people go so nuts over MAC eye shadows  Recently I've purchased a few MAC eye shadows and using them in comparison to my Urban Decay makes me realise how incredibly annoying the fallout on UD is. And another thing that is annoying me about my Urban Decay colours - which is a bizarre thing that I never thought I would think - is the amount of shimmer/frost/glitter is pissing me off. I looked in the mirror the other day and -granted I am ill so my eyes were a little glazed - the iridescence of Bootycall in my inner corner combined with my stupidly pale skin made me look like a Stepford wife.

Plastic. Not a good look. I don't know, I'm having a Make Up Life Crisis I guess.

Do you ever go through phases like this? I hope it's a phase, anyway!
