I love manicures, and I think that I have the basic manicure pretty much down but when it comes to nail art, I'm definitely a beginner and more than that I kind of never can be bothered. I was a little inspired recently to try and be a little more experimental with my nails after discovering The Nailasaurus blog, and though what I've come up with is crap in comparison to anything she's ever done. It was simple to do and I like the outcome.
I did a plain manicure using Barry M Huckleberry then dotted on flowers using a safety pin (So proffesh!) with Sinful Colors Big Daddy and Essie Like To Be Bad. I topped it with a clear coat of nail polish and there we go, super easy.
If you like me, are more likely to just go for a plain block of colour, here are some of my summer favourites :)
Barry M Gelly Hi Shine in Blueberry, Rosehip, Prickly Pear.
Nails Inc Baker Street, NARS Koliary, Nails Inc Downtown, Sinful Colours Pistache, Nails Inc Luminous Red.
In the spirit of playful summer nails I also thought why not do a giveaway with these fun, no fuss House of Holland Block Heads false nails*. I reviewed a pair not long ago, in a different style (here) and was really pleasantly pleased with how easy and long lasting they were!
It's just going to be a fortnight long (Well, it closes on the 3rd) Rafflecopter giveaway and all you need to do is follow me here on GFC and on Bloglovin, I just want to know it's my readers who win, ya know? Good luck :)
