REVIEW | Benefit b.right Skincare

A few weeks back, I was having a skincare crisis. I was bored and wanted to try something new. After browsing the internet I found this Benefit b.right Skincare Intro Set from ASOS (Here), the line had always intrigued me but I don't have a great opinion on Benefit make up, so I didn't want to fork out just incase it was a disappointment. This is such a great deal, 6 decent size samples for just £12.50 - plus as a student on ASOS I got 10% discount, wahey. And can we just stop to appreciate how quaint the vintage style packaging is?!

I've been using these products for a while now and I feel ready to share what I think about them with you lovely readers. So here are some mini reviews - no pun intended!

Triple Performance Facial Emulsion Moisture Prep Toning LotionI have to be honest, I wasn't and still am not entirely sure what this does for the skin. That doesn't mean I don't enjoy it though. It's very cooling, has a lovely fluid texture and smells amazing. The only thing I would say about this product is to be careful how much you pour out of the bottle. The bottle is a little annoying considering it is a very liquidy formula and its just a screw lid, but whatever.

Foamingly Clean Facial WashI looooove this. It’s so gentle but effective. The texture is very soft and creamy and you really don’t need a lot of product to do the job. It really does feel like its cleansing thoroughly and leaves the skin feeling soft and refreshed. I would definitely repurchase this!

Refined Finish Facial Polish - Average, wasn’t too impressed. It did the job though I guess. Nothing out of the ordinary and certainly doesn't make me want to replace my Korres Wild Rose Exfoliating Scrub. (If you'd like to read my review on that product just click here.)

Total Moisture Facial Cream - This was the star of the show. I am definitely repurchasing this, I love the pot, I love the scent. It’s a quite thick moisturiser so you really feel like it’s doing something. Plus it does work well at hydrating the skin and leaving the skin feeling supple and baby soft.

It’s Potent Eye Cream - I don’t really use eye creams, I have to be honest. It was nice to use but not really something I’m looking to include in my skincare routine just yet. My only worry with this product is that it is quite thick, and I would assume you need something light for such a sensitive area. But what do I know? It could be more nourishing for it.

And so, overall I'm really impressed with this skincare line. It's gentle, smells lovely and works pretty well. I also absolutely adore the packaging, it looks great lined up in the bathroom and the vintage feel just makes it unique! It's certainly not the packaging I would expect coming from Benefit, and that just makes me love it even more!

Hope you enjoyed the post and am glad I'm back to writing! Comment below and let me know if you've tried any of these? Which was your favourite?
