PRODUCT RAVE | Clinique Superfine Liner for Brows

I, unfortunately, have not been blessed with perfect eyebrows. My natural brows are blonde for starters, not what you'd expect for a natural brunette but hey ho. So I have not got a choice in the morning for whether or not to fill in my brows, I look strange if I don't.

I thought that I would write a post on my favourite product for brows for two reasons. 1. I think it is an amazing product, and I believe when something is done right it should be given its due, and 2. I haven't really heard about this product much in the blogging world and it is quite a shock to me that this isn't just as raved about as say, the Anastasia Beverly Hills or HD Brows product lines - I haven't tried either of those, though.

When I was younger I tried a few different 'drugstore' eyebrow pencils and always came to the conclusion that they never gave a natural looking finish. I never used to like waxy pencils simply because when I applied them, I would always feel like people were 100% aware that I had drawn on my eyebrows. After giving up on eyebrow pencils early on, I started to use brow powders, which I still use, particularly Illamasqua Brow Cake in Stark.

I have finally found a routine that gives me full, shaped brows which look natural and shape my face well. I use this beauty, this is the Clinique Superfine Liner for Brows (My shade is Soft Brown).

At just £12 from boots, I think this product is a great investment. I have had mine since around January and it's still going strong so you definitely get your moneys worth.

This product is the perfect size to mimic natural looking eyebrows and individual hairs. It's just great. Because of its consistency - a malleable wax - it is really easy to work with and also stay put all day long. I sometimes set this with my Illamasqua Brown Cake to soften up the look but it's definitely not a necessity to have the both of these products because the Clinique is simply that good alone.

  2. I may have to try this! I fill in my brows with a drugstore pencil which is nice but I find it slightly smudges throughout the day! :) x
