REVIEW | ZOEVA Rose Golden Brush Set Vol 2

These brushes are the definition of beautiful!

I've been talking about buying new brushes for too long and what better way to break the procrastination than to invest in another set of Zoeva brushes. Usually when I see ready formed sets of brushes there are two or three that I wouldn't use and that turns me off, but every brush in this set will get a lot of use from me. The contouring brush in particular is becoming a new favourite! I love the pink and rose gold colouring and the white hairs, it's a nice change to the rest of the brushes I own and they feel of good quality. If I could change one thing is I would like for them to be ever so slightly heavier, but that is neither here nor there.

The price point of these brushes is amazing, this set works out to about £7 a brush and they are brilliant. I love the Pointed Crease brush and the Wing Liner brush is my holy grail brow brush, nothing else has compared! I will be featuring these more and more as time goes on but I wanted to share these beauties with you! I got mine from Beauty Bay, but you can get them all over the internet. Who needs to spend ££££ when you have beautiful, quality brushes like these for such affordable prices. I'm dying for the eye set from this line now. A wishlist will be coming soon haha!

REVIEW | Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette.

From L to R: Infusion, Subtle Blend, Pure Ganash & Freshly Toasted.

It was torture not using this palette from the first second it arrived, and can I just say that it was far too much of a steal not to sit down and write about. Zoeva, as a brand, are hitting every nail on the head with pretty much every big release they have had in the past few months and the Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette is no exception. The palette comes with ten very decent sized, rich shades and it's only £15.50. When you feel the buttery texture of these shadows and see the beautiful pigmentation it makes you want to go back and buy all the other palettes they offer. At just over £1.50 per eyeshadow and quality that rivals my Urban Decay, Dior and Charlotte Tilbury counterparts. It is amazing, and I haven't even touched on the beautiful shade selection yet either.

I think the colours in this allow you to make pretty much any look your heart desires and for someone like me who has very pale eyes, these make my eyes pop like nothing else. My personal favourites are Pure Ganash (A spot on dupe for MAC Woodwinked, one of my all time favourite shadows) and Infusion, a beautiful, near black which actually has the same affect when swatched as it does in the pan. The  Mixed Metals palette is next on my hit list, but I can tell I'm going to get a lot of use out of this one until then!

REVIEW | Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Rose Quartz

Rose Quartz, what a beauty.

When I was in high school there was a girl in my year who had the most beautiful bronzer, I remember being so jealous of her makeup. It was a gorgeous bronze sheen and I really wanted to be able to rock that myself! Since then I have been looking for that look and to be honest the search isn't over, but this is the product that has come the closest to achieving it. The shimmer brick has about six different shades in it but I never use them separately, I swirl my brush in this beauty and if gives off the most beautiful summer glow. The fact that there is rose thrown in there means it never looks that awful yellow tone, it just looks like genuinely sun kissed skin - with a beautiful sheen.

I'm loving this at the moment. It's the perfect example of finding a product after years of owning it and realising you shouldn't have given up on it so soon. I would definitely give this a try if you're looking for a reflective bronzer and I may even go back for another shade.
