REVIEW | Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentrate

This is the 30ml :)

A few weeks back I entered a Tattooed Tealady twitter giveaway on a whim and won, yay! The prize was the Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentrate, a raved about cult skincare item that I have been wanting to try since I started watching the Pixiwoo sisters years back. I was so excited to try this, I have dehydrated skin that needs a decent moisturiser that will keep me feeling hydrated throughout the day and most importantly, sit well underneath my make up - happily this is both. I have been using this each day and night since it arrived about two-weeks ago and although that may seem a short time for review to some people, my skin reacts to products pretty quickly because it is a little sensitive in nature. The creme is really smooth and not too thick which means it preps the skin for make up perfectly. It does have a scent which I would prefer it not to, but it's nothing overbearing at all so don't worry too much about that! I'm very happy I got to try this because in all honesty I wouldn't have splurged on it myself. One thing I will say about this is that you don't need a lot at all, about a peanut size amount of product covers my face and neck meaning I have only been through about 10ml for both day and night in 2 weeks, perhaps less! I don't know whether I will repurchase this simply because I tend to like to experiment with moisturisers and even though this performs really well, its nothing extraordinary - just a good, hydrating moisturiser. Overall I'd say this is a solid 8/10 and definitely worth a try if you're in the market for a new moisturiser!

  1. This is a nice moisturiser and unlike you I actually really liked the scent but unfortunately it seems to give me some sort of eczema. Really weird, but I tried taking breaks and wearing it again over and over and the same happens every time. Never had this with any moisturiser before. x

    1. I actually think I'm experiencing the same thing now I've read your comment! I've switched back to my old one to check that it isn't just my skin playing up though! Will be such a shame if it is this :( x
