WISHLIST | Investment Brushes.

1  1 // 2 // 3 // 4 // 5

Lately, I have been seriously wanting new brushes. I do love my Real Techniques but if I'm completely honest, I hate the way they look. No one ever talks about that so maybe it's just me but I think the whole coloured handle thing is a bit too young for me, its really annoying because the performance of the brushes is so good. Anyway. Over the next year or so I've decided to make more of an investment in my make up brushes, starting with these five beauties. The most wanted of this line up has to be the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Brush. I do own a lip brush buy it's a really standard NYX one and I really want a good flat topped one so that I can get a bit more precision when applying bold colours, I love the Charlotte Tilbury brand and the aesthetic of this brush has me reeling! I love experimenting with new foundation application techniques and after seeing Suzie from Hello October talk about the Kevyn Aucoin Foundation Brush and demo it, I knew I wanted it. It's ridiculously priced at £66, and I hate to be the sort of person who says things like this but you kind of get what you pay for with some things. My sister bought this brush and it is so well made and soft I just need it in my collection. The same goes for the Tom Ford Cream Foundation Brush. I want to get more into different foundation textures and I find that none of my brushes apply any cream foundation particularly well, maybe this one could be the perfect tool for it? I should hope so for £58.00. I watch Casey Holmes' videos religiously and she always uses the NARS Ita Kabuki to apply contour and it always looks flawless and I've wanted it for ages, I've tried to buy it like 6 times but the NARS counter in Cardiff never has it when I go in, it's infuriating! Finally, a lot of the Bobbi Brown brush line are on my wishlist, but I especially want the Bobbi Brown Sheer Powder Brush, it's not like any powder brush I own plus the look of it is stunning, and that doesn't hurt.

Would you ever pay upwards of £20 for one brush? The idea kind of turns my stomach but still, I want!
