Rimmel Kate Moss 12, Rimmel In Love With Ginger and Revlon Finale.
A red lip is a sure fire way to perk up any day, well for me it is anyway. Counting them now I am ashamed to say that I have thirteen separate red lipsticks. Generally, I opt for brighter, orange reds but honestly, I think I own every sort of undertone there is when it comes to reds. Even though I do have quite a few options, when it's a daytime red lip I always gravitate towards three specific colours, the ones above to be exact. A go to night out red lip for me is the Rimmel Kate Moss 12 option, it doesn't bleed it's bright but not too in your face and is also easy to match with loads of eyeshadow looks so it's pretty fuss free! On the other hand if I am after attention I'll opt for Rimmel Moisture Renew in In Love With Ginger, it's way more orange based and a bit more glossy. Without fail I will get at least a few compliments when wearing this, which is always nice. I don't wear this one all that often and never in the daytime. It is a little bit higher maintenance than the other two. It's so moisturising and creamy it does bleed and move so you need to keep an eye on it. But for the colour, it's so worth it.
My final offering for the reds is Revlon Ultimate Suede in Finale. This was my everyday red for last summer, it is seriously fool proof! It's not as opaque as some other reds I own but it is in no way patchy and it can be built to a beautiful classic red shade. The formula, as the name would suggest, leaves a suede like effect on the lips meaning this colour doesn't move out of the lines, it stays in place and because it isn't completely matte it doesn't dry out the lips either. I'll rock this if I'm going for a bit of a more sophisticated look at night too, it's pretty versatile!
And that brings us to the end of this series, I hope you enjoyed it! I really enjoyed writing it and taking the photos for this one. I'd be interested to know what any of your favourite lipsticks are? I think we've already realised that I am of the philosophy that you can never have too many lip colours so maybe you can help me find a new favourite!
