These were the three things I most liked from what I was sent, and they all happen to be the added extras. I was sent two of their meals too, the Tomato & Basil Soup* and their Mushroom Risotto* but I didn't really get along to well with them, its very obvious that they are diet supplements rather than meals, if you catch my drift. Anyway, I thought I'd save the focus of the post to be what I actually enjoyed.
The first thing that caught my eye was the Mango and Passion Fruit Drink Mix* (10 calories a serving) I was definitely most excited to give this a go. I'm not a huge fan of sugar, I don't like fizzy drinks but occasionally I'll want some squash or cordial, which I know is bad for me not only in terms of calories but also for my teeth -which I am quite paranoid about. I love this, it is easy to mix, really fruity in taste and only 10 calories. I mix it with still water but you can add it to sparkling too, which, if you're into fizzy drinks, would be WAY better for you when you're trying to lose weight. I find it nicest when you add crushed ice, a lovely summer drink! They do some other flavours of this, the Elderflower and White Wine one sounds incredible! As for the low calorie snacks they sent, the Exante Diet Choco Balls* (79 calories a serving, comes with 2 servings.) taste like crispy m&m's, which happen to be my favourite chocolate! It was quite a task to stop myself from getting out a blender and blending them into some rice milk to make a 'healthier' version of a milkshake. Though I would love to try that! So tasty! The final thing that I really enjoyed was the Chocolate Orange Bar* (219 calories) I'm not a huge fan of chocolate and orange mixed normally but this was quite nice because it wasn't overpowering, it was really quite substantial and it did fill me up more than a normal snack I would have.
Obviously, I didn't try one of the full diet plans they offer but I would say that if you have a strong desire to lower your calorie intake and you're serious about losing weight then this is a really easy, fuss free way to do it. The best thing about it really is that it takes care of your necessary nutrients and your calorie intake all at once. I would especially recommend the service to people who have very busy work schedules, its pretty convenient.
If you are interested in the products I've mentioned here's the link to their website (Exante Diet) It is definitely worth checking out if you're in the market for a new diet plan!
