COLLECTION | Base & Cheeks

So it's another COLLECTION post, and this time it's all about base - foundation, bb cream, bronzer, blush, highlighter. I've had a little sorting of this lately, and either have thrown away or sold a few, so I'm back to only what gets used!

Oh and I didn't include my concealers, but incase you're interested I have the Maybelline Fit Me in Shade 15, Collection Lasting Perfection in LightBenefit Boing in Light and MAC Mineralize Concealer in NC15. Let's get started.

I'm not one to keep foundations if I don't wear them, and I certainly don't buy foundation randomly. I have dry, sensitive skin so I research my foundations quite well before hand. Well, apart from the horror that you see at the far right in the picture, Bobbi Brown Stick Foundation in Porcelain. Stiff and horrid, I use this as a top up for my bag now but would never wear it all over or recommend it! As well as that I have L'Oreal True Match in Rose Ivory, Dior Skin Forever in 010 and YSL Le Teint Touch Eclat in BR10, which I desperately need a new bottle of with the onset of spring.

BB Creams, I love them, these are the two I have currently - Dr Jart Premium BB Cream and Missha Perfect Cover in 21. They are very different to one another, Dr Jart is very light on the skin and provides colour but near to no coverage. The Missha is my favourite, it's a beautiful finish, beautiful coverage and I can tell that it is working for my skins benefit!

Chanel Bronze Universel Bronzing Base.

Maybelline Fit Me Powder in 120, Elizabeth Arden Loose Powder in Light, MAC MSF in Light.

Illamasqua Bronzer (Unknown Shade), NARS Laguna, Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Rose Quartz, AVON Earthen Rose, NYX Taupe blush, VIVO Baked Bronze in 1.

This beauty is the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Rose Quartz and it is just the most beautiful highlight/bronzer I own, I am in love!

Illamasqua Cream Blush in Lies, MAC Tenderling, Illamasqua Naked Rose

Probably the smallest section of my make up collection, but nonetheless well loved! I hope you enjoyed this post!

  1. Illamasqua Naked Rose looks amazing! I'd love it and might have to research around so I can purchase it myself ;)
    Great post :)
I'm using True Match foundation at the moment and love it. I was using MAC Studio Fix before then but it made my skin look even more dry so tried True Match and it seems okay at the moment. What do you think of the DiorSkin? Does it make your skin more dry or help conceal it?

    1. I think the Dior Skin is far better on my dry skin that True Match, it may just be me but do you find the formula of True Match a little powdery? I would definitely get a sample of the Dior Skin if I were you, it's amazing, especially for the night time as it wears for sooo long!

      Hope that helps! xo
