REVIEW | Rimmel Provocalips.

Pink Kiss, Fatal.

This week has been looong! But lets forget about that for a second and focus on these new releases from Rimmel - Provocalips 16hr Kiss Proof Lip Colour. I picked these up on an offer in Tesco to try out after hearing a few praises for them. Traditionally I wouldn't go near a product like this; my lips are very dry and these sorts of stains tend to accentuate that! Unfortunately, that is kind of the case here too, but only with the lighter colour as far as I can tell. The deep plum shade, Fatal, works nicely as a matte looking formula and lasts really well but the nude just made my lips look unhealthy which is a shame because the colour is beautiful too. I am happy I gave these a go because even though I don't think they're something I will be reaching for very often the balm they come with is really nourishing and because it's quite thick it really lasts. I have actually been using the balm most days when I'm getting ready in the morning!

Have you guys tried these? What did you think?

  1. It's a shame that the lighter tone didn't quite deliver, but I love the look of the plum! The packaging reminds me of revlon, and I really don't know why!

  4. Nearly bought the light pink last week. Glad I didn't, as I get dry lips really easily. What a shame, though. Such a pretty colour! x
