REVIEW | Rimmel London Lasting Finish Nude Foundation.

My shade is Light Porcelain (The palest, obvs!)

I have always looked at the original Lasting Finish formulation with curiousity but for whatever reason the palest colour they did was beyond a very tanned version of me. Rimmel does seem to have a tendancy to do that! So, when I saw the promotion for the new Rimmel London Lasting Finish Nude 35hr Foundation I was so happy to see that it runs very pale! I immediately picked it up and it has very quickly become an everday staple - the shade is perfect, the coverage is beautiful and it really does last well! I love the simplistic packaging and the glass bottle too, plus is has a pump that works super well! The texture of this foundation is quite strange, it's kind of like a gel and it feels fairly thick but with that being said it doesn't cake over the skin at all. It applies beautifully and leaves the skin with a very dewy finish - I would say that this is a foundation for dry skinned girls out there, I have dry-combination skin and this 100% needs a powder on my skin otherwise it looks a bit too dewy for my liking. I love to apply this with a Beauty Blender and set it into place with my Maybelline Fit Me Powder for a natural, long lasting finish. I'll apply this at 7am and when I get in from work at 6pm it's still looking just as beautiful! I really enjoy this foundation and I would recommend it if your skin isn't too oily, you want a bit of coverage but don't want to feel caked in makeup and love a bargain. I'm so glad I picked it up!

  2. I'm not really one to try out many different foundations but this does seem lovely! I dont really get along with rimmel foundations though, i find they fade on certain areas of my face :(

  3. I don't think I've ever tried a Rimmel foundation, I tend to stick with my Revlon Colour Stay. This sounds like a lovely product though, definitely one I'd like to try in the future.
