LOOK | Eau so fresh.

I don't know why these pictures come out looking so altered brightened up a bit sure but I wouldn't even know how to fucking work photoshop!

I've been reading blogs more than ever in the past few weeks and it has definitely inspired me to switch up my make up and opt for a fresh, doe eyed, glossy lip look. So here we are. I was playing around with and trying out some new make up on Friday - you might have already seen which items if you follow me on instagram - and I can't say I've been disappointed to be honest!

For my base I used the Pixi Flawless & Poreless Primer* (here), when I first tried it I was expecting something along the lines of Benefit Porefessional but it's definitely different. It's less silicon feeling, and feels less drying on the skin but still gives you that smooth airbrushed base. Thumbs up. I topped that with a mix of the NARS Sheer Glow in Mont Blanc and Rimmel Match Perfection in Light Porcelian. I initially mixed this in a pot to take to Download Festival with me and I've been using it ever since. Perfect summer base with coverage. I bronzed up my face a little and then used MAC Tenderling to give me a little colour. Finally, I used theBalm Mary Lou Manizer to highlight all the normal areas. 

My eyes were pretty basic, I wanted to keep it light and fresh so I just contoured a little and then popped a mix of the Mary Lou Manizer and Urban Decay Half Baked along my bottom waterline. I finished the eyes with a wing using Stila's Stay All Day Liquid Liner*- all I can say is the name is spot on - and a little of the Collection Does It All mascara.

The star of the show, in my opinion is the Tanya Burr Lip Gloss in Aurora*. My favourite colour of the few I own so far, perfect everyday pink for all my pale readers! You can get a bit more of a feel for these glosses from my review here if you'd like :)
