LOOK | Kat Dennings inspired.

Deer in the headlights pose.

Since I first saw Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist a couple of years back I have had a little bit of a girl crush on Kat Denning's style. She's in three of my favourite films too, I love her acting, she's so beautiful and her make up is a bit against the grain. Which I love. She manages to combine glamour and grunge perfectly to create an always beautiful look.

Incase you didn't know who she is, this is her.

So, I decided to try a make up look inspired by her. It's definitely a bit less striking than she usually goes for, I'm not confident enough to pull off the strong eye strong lip thing but I still think I captured it pretty well. I love the look, it really plays on eye colour and pale skin and I am equally surprised that I could enjoy wearing a look with such little liquid eye liner, specifically no winged liner! I also lightened my brows for the look and I really actually like it, looks way more naturally but still frames the face pretty well, don't you think?

It was really simple to achieve I just used the Urban Decay Naked Palette and took Naked across the lid, Buck through the crease and up to the brow bone; Virgin in the tear duct, Darkhorse along both lash-lines and used Blackout (From the Naked 2 palette) as a liner to define the lashes. I paired the look with a rosey nude lip which is a mixture of Rimmel Moisture Renew in Nude Delight and Rimmel Kate Moss in 101.

How do you like it? It's always fun to try and mimic your idols' style. Hope you enjoyed the post!
