REVIEW | DHC Deep Cleansing Oil.

Samples are the bane of my life, most of them just stick around until I convince myself to throw them out. Their one good use is for travel, though. If you're a regular reader, you will know I'm currently away, I'm at my parents but I have been away to York and when packing I decided to try and pack as light as I could. This DHC Deep Cleansing Oil seemed like a shining light, almost a quarter of the size of my Simple Lotion Cleanser, perfect! Well.. no. Not much is able to even contend with my Simple cleanser, and I wasn't expecting this to in the least, I just wanted a product that would remove my make up for the few days that I was away.

This product is more of a fail than Operation Barbarossa (Kicking it with some WW2 knowledge.) It literally burned, until the morning. It didn't "dissolve makeup" as it claims to, and I absolutely hate it. It took about 10 minutes (10!!) to remove my make-up to a decent standard, make my eyes feel misty and felt quite heavy on the skin. I kept it around for an extra 3 days just to take photographs for this review. It's in the bin as of today. It's so bad, I had to buy a new cleanser for the rest of my trip, but that is a silver lining I guess because I picked up the Clinique Redness Solutions Soothing Cleanser and I'm loving it so far.

It's not very often a product gets me so turned off that I feel the need to warn people about it, but my God this is shocking.

If for some reason you think this is a conspiracy and it's probably not as bad as I think, feel welcome to check it out. You can get it at dhcuk.co.uk where they market it as the "Ultimate Cleanser", you have GOT to be shitting me?!
