COLLECTION | Lips.

Yes, I'm a hoarder. In this post I'm going to be showing you my collection of lip products, all of which I store in a little vanity box with a vintage, shabby chic look about it. It's not the most practical but it's the best thing I have to cart them around in (Moving house each year for uni is a bust.).

This post was a bitch to format, and is a little lacklustre but you get to peek into my vanity so I suppose that's all that matters! I've split them all up into little groups. The first being my high end lipsticks.

MAC, NARS, Estee Lauder, Illamasqua, Chanel. They all roped me in.

Here are all of my MAC Lipsticks, MAC is one of my favourite brands and I fully intend on getting more! In the picture above and the swatches below, from left to right we have: Chatter, Patisserie, Creme Cup, Pleasure Seeker, Viva Glam Gaga and Impassioned. Of these, Creme Cup has to be my favourite, it's the most wearable and goes with any look I'm trying to achieve Impassioned has still not gotten worn, need to work up the courage, but it's incredible, don't you think?

And for the rest of my higher end brands we have, from left to right: NARS Funny FaceEstee Lauder Beige, Estee Lauder Fig, Illamasqua Encounter, Illamasqua Obsess, Chanel Evasion.  The swatches below are again in the same order.

Chanel Evasion, though really impractical because it doesn't last even an hour is the most beautiful shade I have come across, and the formula leaves a glossy finish, very beautiful! But then what else would you expect of Chanel.

Onto my 'drugstore brands', my favourite of these has to be Rimmel, their formula is outstanding, very creamy and long wearing.

In the above picture and the swatches below, from left to right is: Kate Matte 101, Kate 03, Kate 12, Kate 20, Lasting Finish 164 Tantrum & Lasting Finish 006 Pink Blush. Pink Blush has to be one of my favourite lipsticks of all time, and the nude, Kate 03 is just perfection. I really rate Rimmel for their lipstick formula's!

The rest of my cheaper brands are a little bit of a jumble, just random ones I've been gifted or have picked up on a whim. Still, they were decent enough to keep around so by no means a waste of money or space.

Here we have, from left to right: Barry M 129. NYX Mauve, NYX Mars, AVON Lilac Shimmer, Topshop Innocence and AVON Colour Trend Violet Friday. A lot of purples going on in this lot! I think I may have has a little lilac phase last spring! I have to rave a little about the Topshop formula, for a cheap-ish brand they definitely hit the nail on the head, it's very reminiscent of MAC Cremesheen lipsticks, well done Topshop.

I have a couple of products in my collection which don't really fit into the 'lipstick' naming so I've just put them together.

The last of the colourful, from left to right: NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream Istanbul, San Paolo, Collection 2000 Creme Puff in 2 Powder Puff and e.l.f Matte Lip Color in Coral. To be honest, I had such high hopes for the Matte Lip Cream style products, but they have such a messy application I've never bothered to wear them, plus they smell wierd, both the NYX and Collection ones smell like icing, it's really not good.

These are rarely used to be honest, apart from the AVON Balm thing because that provides a lovely bitten look to the lips, it's a really cool idea too! I got this free with an order of Dorothy Perkins, how random. I'm not sure of it's name though, sorry!

The last part of my collection is a measly 3 lip balms. All cheap and cheerful and all do the job well. If you're wondering these are Nivea Pearly Shine, Raspberry Chapstick and Blistex Intensive Moisture.

This post has actually reminded me of some gems that I forgot about! It's also brought to my attention that I have lost my Korres Guava Lip Butter. Wahh!

I hope you enjoyed nosing into my make up collection, more to come so make sure you stay tuned! If you have any recommendations for lip products don't hesitate, I love a reason to shop! Oh and I'd love it if you entered my GIVEAWAY if you haven't already, still plenty of time!

Next week's collection post is going to be my base and cheeks!
