REVIEW | Maybelline Fit Me

I had mentioned a few posts back that I was going to write a rave review on these bad boys. It's the Maybelline Fit Me line, I picked up the pressed powder and the concealer to try out and I haven't got a bad thing to say. They also do a foundation but the lightest colour in that is far too dark for me, it's a little silly. If you are wondering, I got the powder in shade 120 and the concealer in shade 15.

The concealer is a very strange consistency to feel at first, it's a little more of a gel than anything else but for underneath the eyes, it's a perfect weight and it cools too which is a nice sensation. I think the coverage is nice enough for a brightening under eye concealer but I wouldn't use this on my blemishes, for that i'll stick to my Collection Lasting Perfection, nothing is more opaque!

Another thing I quite like about these products is that they are packaged so simply, and that's right up my street. I don't like fussy, bright or playful patterns, I don't want to have a clash on my dressing table...O.C.D much?

And this is what it looks like on, it definitely provides enough blot so that you don't look shiny but still lets the skin show through. I also touched up with this and layer is not a problem at all. Not cakey at all. It's amazing!

I've really enjoyed using these products over the past week or so and will definitely be keeping them in my day to day routine. As for price, they are reasonable, not expensive by any stretch, nor are they so inexpensive I want to scream about it.

I really like them, there's not much more to say.

Have you tried anything from the range? Do you love them as much as me ;)

  3. Thanks so much for the review! It's crazy how many foundations I'm not able to use as well, because they are too dark for me, even in the lightest shade. So frustrating!

    1. Sometimes I find that its the undertones too, they always seem to be yellow undertones in drugstores. Which is a shame! xo
