LOOK | Sparkling Emerald.

So here's another face of the day kind of post, it's another night look. Yes, this one is more exciting that the plain brown smokey eye that I did last time. It's not very often I use colour anymore, but there are a few colours which I love to play around with. Namely burgundy and emerald green.

Since I was planning to wear my favourite green & navy patterned shift dress I thought i'd emerald my self up and luckily for me, my sister just bought a deep green pigment.

The face makeup is applied exactly as I always do it except I decided to mix together my Dr Jart Beauty Balm & my Dior Forever foundation (010) to get a little bit more coverage. Problem skin, waahhh.

So, for my eyes I used my super sparkly Illamasqua Liquid Metal in Surge as a base, since I was using a pigment I wanted to ensure it adhered well. Then from my Naked 2 Palette I used Tease though the crease & Busted on the outer v of my eyes for definition. And the star of the show, the green pigment. It's by a brand called Mineral Hygenics (I've never heard of them either.) in the shade Emerald. With a MAC 239 I pushed that over my eyelid. As a final touch, after a lot of blending, I used Urban Decay's Foxy as a highlight.

Hello close-up!

And to finish everything off, I popped on a somewhat sheer nude lip. Its a Maybelline Colour Sensational lipstick in 842 Rosewood Pearl.

Ta-da!

    1. Thank you, that's really nice of you to say! I would recommend Urban Decay whole heartedly, their palette's are definitely worth the money. What I would say though is that there are dupes, for the Naked Palette especially. I don't know if you caught my post on VIVO but i'm considering doing a full comparison on the VIVO Unprotected Palette to the Naked 1 because they are identical, only the VIVO one is just £2.99 (http://www.vivocosmetics.co.uk/index.php/unprotected-12-shade-colour-block-palette). Look out for that post in the next few days.

If you were looking for specifically Urban Decay though, they are gorgeous and not overly hyped at all, they are well worth the money!

      Hope this helps :)
