YSL Le Teint Touch Eclat Foundation review w/ swatch

Here it is, the hugely anticipated YSL Le Teint Touch Eclat.

I've used the stock photo because I have yet to buy the full size product. I went into House of Fraser on the weekend to get a sample size of Le Teint Touch Eclat, and I ended up getting it in the shade BR10. You don't understand how happy this foundation has made me, it has the perfect pale colour, the perfect undertones and I think - although a big claim - it is the perfect match to my skin tone. The only foundation that I have ever found to do that, by the way.

It comes in a huge 22 shade range, from the fairest red undertones (my colour!) to quite deep skin tones. It's pretty impressive.

The sample size they gave me is massive, supposedly 7 days wear but I have worn this 3 times now and it's safe to say this will last me longer than 7 days - a little goes a long way. I am especially impressed by the sample size since I went to Clinique in my House of Fraser to test out the Anti Blemish foundation and there was literally about 2 applications in that sample.

Shade BR10

It is a very light formula, but does make a difference, I think it lives up to the Touch Eclat reputation. I love it and will for sure be buying the full size just as soon as my sample has run out.

I know a lot of people would consider £28 to be a lot for a foundation but to be honest, when its a base for the rest of your make up, you need to know its good. I am quite happy to pay far more for a foundation that any other product, and I think that £28 is fairly reasonable - I was expecting more.

Definitely worth getting a sample. It is perfect.

Follow and share.

  2. I'm so jealous, would love to try it out. Just don't know which color I am... it's not launched here yet, and I'm not brave enough to pick either B10 or B40 haha! x

    1. Oh no! Can you not get to a YSL counter? When i'm at university I havent got any high end counters near me and usually if you call a department store they will send you samples! I know with Chanel you can ask the people on the counter to compare their foundation to one you already have and are matched to. Maybe its worth a try? Where there's a will, theres a way!
