HOLY GRAIL | Illamasqua Liquid Metal in Surge.

And can we just take a moment of appreciation for Illamasqua packaging?

I'm not a massive fan of glitter on the eyes. To be honest, when it comes to make up, my mantra is "The more I have on, the more likely I am to mess it up". So, glitter is pretty much out of the question. I do however, really enjoy the effect of glitter, when I spend hours sprawling through Instagram or Pinterest I will look through endless photos of beautiful glamourous eye looks that I just will never create myself.

In walks in Illamasqua Liquid Metal in Surge. This cream eyeshadow base is perfection when I want a little more texture and interest to an evening eye make up. The silvery taupe colour teamed with the iridescent finish is the perfect undergarment for any eyeshadow. It makes mattes a little more interesting and shimmers look like a disco ball - in a  good way! When you blend this out it has a finely milled shimmer to it which comes through the eyeshadow to make it look like you put in that little bit of extra thought to your look.

Without fail I will have someone ask the question "Ooh, what eyeshadow are you wearing?" When I've paired this with any number of looks. I really do love this product, probably the best cream base I've come across. A definite staple in my collection! I will recommend this product until my face turns blue!
