TAG | The Liebster Award!

Hey all! I was tagged to for the Liebster Award by both Beth (Mermaid in Disguise) and Maeve (Thrift O'Clock). The rules say you have to write some facts about yourself, eleven to be exact, answer the questions given by the person who tagged you and then tag other blogs under two-hundred followers to share the love and answer questions you create!

Eleven facts about me.

So, this post isn't miles long, and because two people tagged me I've decided to answer my ten favourite questions :)

Beth asked me...

Favourite place?
If you would have asked me this around 3 months ago I would have immediately said Rhossili Bay, it’s on the Gower peninsula in Swansea and it has a piece of my heart because I’ve practically spent most of my free childhood and teenage summers there. But since leaving my university town at the start of June my love for it has grown and grown, so I would probably have to say the jetty or the Marina in Aberystwyth, they are beautiful relaxing spots to go to if you’re ever around Aber.

Dream pet?
Blue great dane. Or, if I could do it in a humane way, like just live near to their habitat, probably a Killer whale. That’s my favourite animal.

Who would you want to play you in a film of your life?
Tina Fey or Kristen Wiig, I wish I was as funny as either of those women!

If you could have any hair colour would you change yours?
If I knew I could suit it, and work wasn’t an issue then grey. I love the idea of grey/white hair. I don’t know why, always have secretly wanted grey hair since I was in primary school. What a weirdo?!

If you could have any ice cream flavour what would you choose?
Pistachio! On an offshoot road from the Colosseum in Rome, there is an opera house and just across the road from it they sell the most incredible Pistachio gelato. It is perfection.

And Maeve asked...

What's your favourite meal?
At the moment, sweet potato fries, diced pesto chicken with grilled courgette and tomkins. Oh my it's good.

What would you like your superhero power to be?
I read a post by someone answering this question not long back but I can't for the life of me remember who it was, and I have to steal their answer. They said they would have the power to learn through seeing things. So, you see someone build a bridge, you can build a bridge. That would be insanely good!

Who are your five ideal dinner party guests?
Love this question! Assuming you can invite both dead and alive people, I would invite: Michel Foucault because God knows a conversation with him would be interesting. Richard Dawkins - because I love his work. Beyonce because she's Beyonce. Nicollo Machiavelli because The Prince is one of the only books I had to read for Uni which I thoroughly enjoyed and Kevin Smith because he is fucking hilarious.

What's your all time favourite item of clothing?
My Led Zepellin t-shirt, and I'm actually wearing it right now!

Where do you see yourself in five years time?
Hopefully in a new city working in politics somehow, maybe settling down, who knows.

I really enjoyed writing this post so thanks again for tagging me :) I tag

Lucy from Louminous, Emily of Emmi Hearts and Lauren of The Emerald Dove I know you're supposed to tag more, but it's so hard to find blogs I actually read which haven't already been tagged or have less than two-hundred followers!

My questions for you girls are
  1. What's your favourite book?
  2. You have all the money and time in the world. Where would you travel and what mode of transport would you use?
  3. Weird celebrity crush?
  4. Which post that you have written this year are you most happy with?
  5. Your favourite blog to read?
  6. Favourite Beatles song?
  7. What are you most proud of?
  8. You get to have your make up done by any make up artist/ beauty guru, who would you chose?
  9. Favourite designer?

Make sure to tweet me @sjmcdf if you decide to take part so I can read your responses!
