beauty uk Eyeshadow Palette review w/ swatches.

Ever since I really got interested in cosmetics a few years ago, it would always be an unspoken rule of mine to stay away from inexpensive brands. Not because i'm snobby, just because it's usually the case that if something seems too good to be true, it is.

Having said that I have started to experiment with lower cost makeup lately, with my positive introduction to MUA Eyeshadows, I think i'm a little more open to unknown, cheaper brands.

The top middle shade is one that really stood out to me, its so beautiful and unique - a burgundy/brown/gold shimmers!

So when I was out today I was looking around, mainly for a topcoat nail polish, and of course, I got sidetracked to make up. I picked up a few things and amongst them was this palette. I was attracted to it because of the beautiful colours, shimmery neutrals. What I think caught my attention most was the two khaki shades on the right side. When I saw it was £3.99 I was a little hesitant, but I thought, why not?

All of the colours swatches on bare skin. Just look at that bronzey/gold! Almost a perfect dupe for Urban Decay Half Baked!

Each eyeshadow is a gram of product, which is pretty decent for the price, especially considering that MAC eyeshadows are around 1.5 grams and they cost upwards of £10. Plus, they are well pigmented, on the whole they are buttery soft easily blended colours (With the exception of the cream on the bottom right - chalky! :[ )

Such an out of the blue purchase but I'm so glad I gave this a shot, I think its a lovely addition to my collection!
