So, I had recently asked whether you guys would enjoy peeking into my collections of perfume, make-up and nail polish and you seemed to like the idea. I'm going to do this weekly, as it takes a bit longer than the normal post to format and photograph. So for the few months, on a Sunday I'll be posting a section of my collection. This week it's my perfume collection, and next week I'll be starting the set for my make-up collection with Lips. Let's begin!
This is my albeit small, but beloved perfume collection. It's only recently that I have been mixing up what I'm wearing, in the past I would have bought a perfume and worn it until it ran out and then repurchased. So there are a few that I still want to put on this shelf, namely Christian Dior Hypnotic Poison and Chanel Chance Eau Tendre.
This first perfume is one of my more recent purchases, is Escentric Molecules Molecule 01. This product has had a lot of hype and honestly that is the main reason that I bought it, for a review on it you can check out Lily Pebbles blogpost, here. To me, this smells masculine and clean, I don't wear it very much. If I'm honest I regret purchasing it, I should probably sell it or something, but the bottle is nice enough sat on my shelf.
Pictured next is one of my summer loves, Armani Diamonds. This perfume is so fresh and beautiful, I literally have about one more spray in it. When the nicer weather comes along I'll probably repurchase, you know how certain smells trigger memories? This does that for me, it reminds me of summertime, travelling and the beach. This is about as sweet a perfume as I ever want, it has a musky base but then a hint of like..blueberry? I don't know, go smell it!
Another perfume that brings back memories is Gucci Rush, it's a very distinct smell. And quite sensual I think. It's definitely a deep, musky scent and it lingers. I think that's what I love most about it. I went to catch up with a friend whilst I was home and she was wearing this and it just reminded me of being a teenager - my sister used to wear it. It took me all of two days to decide to buy it after that. I love this smell. It's probably my favourite in my collection at the moment.
I mentioned this next perfume in a recent haul post, it's the newest addition to my collection, Miss Dior Eau De Parfum. Such a beautiful scent. It's quite floral but still very wearable, again this lasts a long time on me and I love it for that. Plus the bottle, it's so pretty. It reminds me of my mothers perfume bottles too, I've admired them since I was a little kid aha!
Next, Victor & Rolf Flowerbomb. This perfume screams luxury to me, the smell is very similar to Gucci Rush just more floral, it's musky and adult. I love it, and the bottle! So sleek!
Lastly come the ones I never use, I sometimes spray them on my bedsheets though, aha! To me they are pleasant but not something I want someone to smell on me. Just some travel size AVON Perfumes, they're very sweet, not really my taste, but nice enough.
For storage I just keep my perfumes on a shelf with my nail varnish and jewellery, out of the view of the light!
What's your favourite perfume?

I love Miss Dior! Never bought it though, because I know I'm not a Parfum kind of person, I wouldn't really use it and that would be too bad, since it smells SO GOOD! :)

Yeah, sure! xo
DeleteGreat selection! I recently tested Flowerbomb and quite liked it! My new favourite fragrance is Angel by Thierry Mugler- haven't purchased it yet, but spritz it on every time I'm in Sephora :) A couple of my long-time favourite scents are Stella McCartney Stella and Dior Addict.

I always overlook that, but the bottle is just beautiful, I'll have to give it a spritz! xo
DeleteFlowerbomb is on my wish list. I have a Korres body butter that smells like it and it's keeping me satisfied for now but it's not quite the same :( haha! Great post, I'm looking forward to seeing more collection posts :)
