LOOK | Simple, smokey, brown.

I've seen these sort of posts on Lily Pebbles' blog (What I Heart Today) and I love reading them. I have a little time before I have to head out so I thought, why not?

I'm off to a family birthday party tonight and so nothing crazy but I wanted to wear a bit of a darker look than I usually would just for day to day. I also really wanted to wear my new MAC blush aha, so I needed a look tailored around that.

I used my Maybelline Fit Me Powder for the first time today and I absolutely love the look it gave, flawless! I used the same lines concealer too, for my under eyes, such a nice consistency. I feel a review coming along.

Star of the show, Tenderling.

For the eyes, I used only my Urban Decay Naked 2 palette. First, I swept Tease through the crease and down to the lash line and then contoured the outer third of my eyes a little with Busted. Probably one of the simples smoked out eye, but I love it. I also took Busted underneath my eye, for definition. I just did my everyday cat eye with Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Eyeliner and coated the absolute hell out of my lashes with Maybelline One by One.

And here's the finished product.

I just rediscovered my Vivienne Westwood Orb necklace, this is a throwback to my job at House of Fraser when I was in college. Memories!

I hope you enjoyed this post, do let me know if you did, I really liked writing this and wouldn't mind doing more. Something different isn't it?

  3. What a soft, pretty look! The neutral eye shadows really bring out your eyes and the winged liner is the perfect touch of drama. I'd love to see more posts like this :)

    1. I think if you have cool tones to your skin its definitely worth it, I barely use my Naked 1 now that I have the two because I feel like Naked 2 suits my cool toned skin better! They are very similar but I think the shades are different enough to warrant buying the two. Hope this helps :) And thanks for following :)
