L to R: Illamasqua Blush in Naked rose, Illamasqua Cream Blush in Lies.
Finally picked these two colours up. I've been wanting them for a while and then when Illamasqua emailed me with a birthday discount of 15%, PLUS my loyalty discount, I really had no reason not to get them
I find it so hard to get blusher to suit me because my skin is so pale (Mac NC15 and lighter) and I have red undertones, so, like I've mentioned in previous blogs, blusher generally makes me feel like a clown.
Having said that, i'm not really a fan of the way most blusher looks on anyone. Most shades are far too out there for me. Anyways, I saw Naked Rose and I thought that it might be a good, subtle shade that would suit colouring.

Hmm. It isn't subtle whatsoever, but that is just because it is so pigmented, which I should have anticipated given its an Illamasqua product. But as a turn of luck, it does suit my skin tone, so it';s not a wasted buy. I really like Illamasqua powders, I have one of their bronzers also. Regardless of the fact they are hella pigmented, they are finely milled and are buttery soft. A top product.
Now for the real star of the show. The Cream Blush in Lies.

This is the perfect highlight for me, the pink undertones suit my skin and make the sheen look natural. I like that it is cream, it leaves a lovely dewy glow and when it catches the light you see shades of pink but also silver. It's quite a unique colour. I'm in love!
Hope you enjoyed.

Wow, that really is a perfect highlighter! It is so beautiful. I want to try this now - my skin is really pale too (NW15) so hopefully it will suit me too! :)
